Epifany Style - Flowers

When it came time for my special day, my family & friends helped me turn my dreams into reality. Our wedding was held at the gorgeous Vizcaya Mansion in midtown Sacramento in early April. I chose brown & green as the wedding colors.

To save time & money we used the same arrangements for both the ceremony and reception. We designed two different styles of centerpieces, one taller and one shorter, staggered beneath the high stained glass dome of the reception hall. The taller arrangements helped to shrink the room, making the celebration more intimate, yet still elegant.

For flowers, I chose dendrobium orchids, cymbidium orchids, bells of Ireland, snapdragons, spider mums, fancy calla lilies, apple blossoms, tulips, button mums, stocks, larkspur, imported white roses, and hypericum berries, with greenery of seeded eucalyptus, plumosa, and willow twigs. Each vase was wrapped at the top with brown satin ribbon to bring the wedding colors together. I accented the arrangements with sparkly butterflies to symblize new beginnings.
